Little to no income taxes, foreign bank accounts, and frowned upon loans to some of his children. The House Ways and Means Committee has released six years of former President Trump’s tax returns. It lasted from Trump announcing his first presidential run in 2015 until his final year in office in 2020.

An earlier report from the Joint Taxation Commission revealed the shockingly low amount of taxes the former president paid, including paying just $750 in 2017. And he’ll pay $1.1 million in 2018 and 2019 combined. And he won’t have to pay income taxes for his final term in 2020. Trump has offset his earnings by claiming millions of dollars in losses and has cast doubt on the former president’s business failures.
Trump received money from foreign governments during his presidency. He paid more taxes abroad than he paid to the federal government he was elected in 2017.
