Donald Trump has opted to give a political speech after being indicted on federal charges, and some of what he says will likely be used against him in court.
There were two related moments that hurt Trump’s legal defense.
President Trump called government documents presidential documents.
President Trump said of the government documents that stole presidential documents, “They are threatening me with 400 years in prison for possessing my own presidential documents. This is what almost every other president has done.” “There are.” pic.twitter.com/ECkz3V91vF

Mr Trump said:
Indict a former US president under the Espionage Act of 1917. This was not for this. This is a heinous criminal act, threatening me with 400 years in prison for possession of my own presidential papers, which nearly every other president has done. This is one of the most outrageous and pernicious legal theories ever brought up in American courts. spy law. It has been used to track down traitors and spies. He has nothing to do with the former president, has legal custody of his own documents as president, and the law that applies to this case is not the espionage law. But very simply, the Presidential Records Act.
None of Trump’s statements are true or correct.he doesn’t seem to know what it is Presidential Records Act or applied to a sitting president who is legally obligated to preserve all documents while in office. President Trump also claimed that the government documents were personal documents of the president, but that they were not. Classified documents are not presidential documents.
Trump also alleged that the Justice Department fabricated the photographic evidence.

If Mr. Trump’s lawyers were going to argue in court that the physical evidence against Mr. Trump was fabricated, Judge Cannon might accept it, but the Court of Appeals would not. Trump also said a lot about the allegations involving Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, but the main point here is that the real corrupt person here is Biden, not Donald Trump. It means Mr. Looking at the scoreboard, this is not a persuasive argument. Trump 71 felonies, Biden 0.
The Bedminster debacle, a speech like Trump’s in the past, which would be attributed to him lying and delusional, was reportedly on CNN after losing a defamation lawsuit. Just as he denigrated E. Jean Carroll, President Trump has yet to realize that his remarks can and will be used against him.
Every time Trump speaks, he’s one step closer to federal prison.
