“I’ll answer your question on those two points,” Crapo said at a press conference. ”
Here’s the full clip:
Crapo said it would be the American public who would bear the brunt of corporations having to pay a minimum tax, which in this hypothesis would be considered a sort of, sort of, but technically not tax increase. I tried to argue that it might not.
Crapo’s answer was an act of juggling he tried to say that helping people would be bad because businesses would have to pay more taxes, and that it wouldn’t be good for Americans because the reason to mutter is to mutter. .
Technically speaking, Republicans are lying by claiming that the Inflation Reduction Act will raise taxes on anyone under $400,000. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) came under fire during an appearance on Fox News when the network tried to spread a false claim, calling it an outright lie.
Republicans are lying about the Inflation Reduction Act. Because they don’t want Democrats to give voters another big win to campaign for in the fall.
The red wave that Republicans wanted looks like a memory. will cause even more headaches over the course of the campaign.
Remember Senator Mike Crapo’s words when Fox News and Republicans claim the Inflation Cut Act is a tax increase.
