Sean Hannity defuses FOX News’ 1/6 misinformation bastion by describing the 1/6 attack as his mother and father attending a Trump rally.

Political corruption extends far beyond the former US president. Abortion activists, traditional Catholics, mothers and fathers of those who only attend Trump rallies. How can even an angry parent speak up about teaching their child or CRT age-appropriate content? What if you stuck with reading, writing, math, and computers? But what if they spoke at a school board meeting and spoke out against critical race theory? They could face FBI scrutiny with arms. ”
Hannity was trying to defend Jim Jordan’s weaponization of government hearings involving fake Trump-funded whistleblowers When I mentioned the FBI investigating Trump’s rally. The only Trump rally ever investigated by the FBI occurred on Jan. 6, so Sean Hannity reframed domestic terrorists who tried to overthrow the government with violence as some of the mothers and fathers who attended the rally. . Ignoring violent attacks on the Capitol and killings of police officers aimed at harming political leaders.
The underlying motivation for the government weaponization allegations is to cover up the 1/6 and make Trump’s actions look like a law enforcement conspiracy. None of Hannity’s remarks were true, but the idea that the government is targeting Trump does not motivate Republican voters, so Trump and his supporters fear that the threat is personal. To make it look like it did, we expanded the scope of school board meetings to include parents.
Hannity is already in the 8:00 PM timeslot format. No matter how many hosts are fired, no matter how many lawsuits are settled, Fox News is still in the misinformation business.
