Rep. Ted Liu (D-California) has predicted that the 2024 presidential election won’t be over because Trump’s response at the CNN Town Hall was a gold mine for Democrats.
Rep. Liu tweeted:
On national television, Donald Trump focused on disenfranchising women.
Elections never end. Trump again loses Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia.
The abortion issue will overwhelm Trump and Republicans.
This is not complicated. https://t.co/42A4wUJG46

Some think City Hall was a fiasco for CNN.But it was definitely a goldmine @Joe Biden and the Democratic Party. Highlighting multiple Donald Trump statements at City Hall from now until next November. This presidential election is not even close. https://t.co/PCkSHMJl0U

Many Americans have never seen a single City Hall on CNN.
But many Americans will now see the bad things Donald Trump said. @Joe Biden And the Democrats will absolutely use clips from that City Hall in their ads across America. https://t.co/bTrQgCWPGO

Almost eight years after Trump’s revelations, America knows that the former president isn’t just saying things to get votes. He truly believes in a national abortion ban and Help Russia take over Ukraine. Trump will destroy American democracy. These are the things that will happen if Trump returns to the White House.
Senator Liu was right. CNN town halls were seen by a small percentage of those voting in the 2024 general election. Exponentially more he voters in 2024 will see or hear every ad the Democrats are trying to create from his Trump appearance on CNN.
Democrats will also use Trump’s words against the 2024 Republican House and Senate candidates.
Trump has consistently been a gift that keeps giving to Democrats. With his return to the White House unlikely after a 2020 loss, the former president took a big step into the Democratic Party. Appearance of Town Hall It should remind voters why he is unfit for the White House.
