Rachel Maddow has shown that the Republican Party has become the party to jail librarians, ban books, and desegregate schools.

Mr Maddow said:
Whatever your politics, it doesn’t matter if you agree with what these Republicans and Republican governors and Republican Congresses are doing in their states. Can you still see it? So this isn’t the kind of thrilling national program that Republican candidates aspire to run for the White House next year, right? It’s the same as repealing desegregation in schools or repealing child labor laws, right? Regardless of who the standard-bearer becomes, it will be run by Donald Trump or someone else with a track record of the current model of Republican governance.
And, you know, it doesn’t matter who their standard bearer will be, whether it’s Trump. All they want is to take back the White House next year, regain control of the executive branch, and take the presidency in 2024, regardless of their unpopularity and ruling overreach in the states they control. In their control, what you can control as a country is the political climate of the country, the only thing they can do alone is the economy.
Rachel Maddow went on to discuss the Republican motives for the default. A default might be our only hope of regaining the White House in 2024.
Given the state of governance in each state, Republicans should expect an economic collapse before returning to the White House in 2024. Anything that forces it to rely on its own policies can be doomed to defeat.
