Another big disagreement with my MAGA Republican, by the way, this is not your father’s Republican party. However, they are afraid of being left out of the line as they will be in the first round. And they will lose the election.
MAGA Republicans don’t want health care, education, public safety, or anything that specifically supports working families. This drives up costs for people. Maga Republicans refuse to raise taxes on the wealthy by a single penny.
Since the president has no budgetary authority, the president’s budget is merely a statement of priorities, or a suggestion as to which direction the president wants the budget to move. Biden uses his budget to explain his values and priorities, but he defines MAGA Republicans in a devastating way.
